Murat Idal
Murat is a partner at IDAL and counsels domestic and international clients in all areas of intellectual property protection and commercialization, including obtaining and enforcing IP rights, and managing of intellectual assets with legal view of licensing agreements and IP litigation issues.
He is a registered trademark and patent attorney, and serves not only notable law firms around the world but also companies listed America’s and Asia’s top lists, manly in automotive, mining, telecommunication, software, transportation and construction industries. Along with his duties, he also serves as an expert witness before Turkish IP Courts.
Murat has been recognized as a leading IP person in all aspects of IP & Licensing sessions in Turkey. He has handled numerous complex commercial and IP litigation cases.
Upon studied advance level IP courses provided by WIPO & LESI in Auckland (NZ) & San Diego (USA), he has become one of the few certified IP100 lecturer in Turkey.

In 2018, he served as a commissioner of state for development plan XI. He has attended several seminars and conferences as keynote speaker in national and international level.
Murat is currently a member of three Turkish Universities’ IP Council for protection and commercialization of inventions.
He has attended several international seminars as a speaker and is an author of many intellectual property and licensing related articles, mainly on IP protection, trademark disputes, and protection of well-known trademarks.

Murat is a founding and/or an active member of important national and international organizations such as INTA and LES in intellectual property ecosystem.
He is currently serving as president and international delegate of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) Turkey, is a member of Rotary International, and was a committee member in International Trademark Association (INTA) in recent years.

Pınar Doğan
Pınar is attorney at law, registered before Istanbul Bar. She advises on a wide range of Turkish IP Law matters, with a focus on litigation and dispute resolution, mainly in intellectual property, cancellation and oppositions of registered IPR in addition to appeal proceedings against TURKPATENT’s decisions.
Pınar represents multinational and local clients before all levels of court and assists them through all aspects of the litigation process including attending hearings, developing strategy and conducting settlement process. She has wide experience on trademarks and patentable technologies.
After internship, she has been working as a lawyer about 10 years.

Serhat Idal
Serhat is a partner at IDAL and counsels clients in all areas of patent and trademark law, primarily in entertainment, automotive, software, consumer products, cosmetics, and fashion industries.
In protecting his clients’ valuable IPR, Serhat develops and implements strategies that include, as necessary, contractual transactions, IP due diligence, mediation, multi-level negotiations, investigations, raids, and other enforcement actions.
Apart from serving a few companies from Fortune 500 in mechanical industry and mining industry, he also counsels some major legal firms in Europe and Asia Pacific, recognized in all over the world.
He graduated from Baskent University in Ankara and completed his education in Cambridge, UK.
